Events – Consultancy & planning
Production – Screen hire & licenses
Toni
With major restrictions surrounding events over the summer, Tonic Collective pitched a drive-in event concept that delivered all the excitement of an event, whilst providing a safe environment in which to enjoy it. The drive-in events ran over two weekends in September with up to three screenings a day.
Tonic proposed and sourced an LED screen allowing for daytime as well as evening screenings. We provided advice, consultancy and layout planning. As well as the screen hire, we organised the Ofcom license and the tech for Q&A sessions. We even engaged a satellite engineer to create a pop up F1 Skybox.
AIM
Facilitate a Drive-in event programme that delivers the wow factor of a big screen with the flexibility to accommodate daytime and evening viewings.

Events – Devising a programme of seasonal events
Brand – Creating a snowflake design icon
Partnership – With Black Sheep Coffee
Production – Neon and festoon lighting
Styling – Theme creation and implementation
Toni, Annlouise, Andy & Patrick
We created an 80’s neon themed après-ski experience with chalet bars serving vin chaud, mulled cider, donuts and beers in partnership with Black Sheep Coffee, retro ski simulators for head-to-head slalom racing, gift wrapping and an alpine cinema showing classic Christmas movie favourites.
Setting the scene with lit neon signs and festoon lighting, an old Corcheval cable car, snowy fir trees and warm sheepskin throws and fleeces. We created a snowflake icon using the angles of the building to decorate wind breaks and escalator panels to give the impression that it was snowing.
Activity was scheduled over a four week period with a launch event attracting a large number of tenants, and good attendance at weekly movie screenings and acoustic band nights for ski racing. A food market provided pop-up, alpine style food at lunch times and during event evenings.
AIM

Events – Facilitating high end luxury PR event

Styling – Event theme, look & feel
Toni, Al, Andy
With less than 2-weeks lead time, we worked with a professional stylist to create an event look and feel inspired by the contrast, diversity and rich culture of Azerbaijan, to capture the flavours, colours and vibrancy of the region whilst maintaining a minimalist, high end finish.
Soft lighting in Azerbaijani colours, rich vibrant textiles and velvet jewel coloured furnishings sat alongside back lit images of icy mountains and iconic Azerbaijani cityscapes. Lit plinths highlighted regional wines and a gif booth captured images for sharing.
AIM
Create colour, texture and interest within a blank canvas event space, bringing the vibrancy and rich heritage of Azerbaijan to life.

Hakkasan provided canapés as part of an exclusive partnership which was complimented by champagne partner, Perrier-Jouët.
A DJ and saxophonist duo helped to create a laid back, but stylish, aesthetic to the event.

We transformed the showroom into a white Christmas wonderland with reindeers on the windows, snowflake swirling lights, Christmas outfits for hostesses and waiters, snow-covered decorations and a Photo Grotto creating magazine style photo shoots with festive props.
Verve Clicquot provided the bar as part of a partnership arrangement as well as some branded collateral and a table football game. There were also festive hot canapés, a DJ, close up magician and of course a host of Ferraris to add to the Christmas wish list.
